Paul Dovey of dig It Landscapes is prode to be the main sponsor of the first team at Newport Cycle Speedway 2011.
Top riders are explosive sprinters but they also have stamina to enable them to keep going through a long match.
Paul having done some cycle speedway as a boy in the Newport area it brings him great pleasure to watch the boys and girls keeping this sport alive.
It was with great pleasure that Paul Dovey of Dig It landscapes and his wife Megan were invited to the awards evening for Newport Cycle Speedway and asked to present the awards on the night.
A good night was had by all, from the smallest under tens to the oldest naming no names. The skill levels are high with many of the members coming up for more then one award.

Cycle speedway is an up and coming sport, origins back to the early post war years and still going strong. The club is still looking for new members and all are welcome to have a go.
Dig It landscapes came on board last year as the main sponsors of the first team. Its been a very good year, on the 1st Nov this year Newport 1st team were unlucky in the league decider against Horspath, but they all showed commitment to the sport and made us very proud of them all.
Dig It landscapes have showed interest in sponsoring them again next year as there is bigger and better things to come. Why not pop along and see for yourself next year.
